Summer Camp is a time where relationships are made, lives are changed, and God is honored!

This summer we will discover how to conquer our fears, face our giants and grow our faith. We will discuss the biblical concept of living wholehearted for the sake of Christ, we will strive to trust God to do the impossible through us, we will learn about navigating feelings of defeat in our lives and we will be challenged to surrender to God by loving Him more than anything else.

Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Selma will be attending summer camp the week of July 23 – 28, 2017. This year camp will be held at Camp Woodmen in Kinston, NC. We would like to invite your youth to attend camp with us.  We accept boys and girls, ages 8-18. If your church would like to send a counselor(s), we will be glad to meet with them to discuss what being a counselor involves.  The cost is $160 per person. This includes: t-shirt, lesson material, meals and snacks, transportation to and from camp, use of camp facilities.

A day at camp includes morning devotions, group activities including teaching and fun interaction, all centered on the main topic for the week. Afternoon has quiet time and recreational activities that include swimming, paddle boats, a blob, playground and more. We have evening chapel time with a motivated guest speaker bringing the Word of God to the campers on their level. We also have praise and worship and prayer time.

If you are interested and would like more information or would like for someone to come to your church to explain more about camp and answer any questions, just let us know. Last year we had 130 youth and 36 adult counselors to attend camp. We will have two registered nurses with us during the week of camp and adults who are certified in CPR and First Aid. We strive to keep the youth safe physically, while sharing the Word of God and ministering to their souls.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have youth that would like to attend, as we are in the process of ordering teaching materials, crafts and activities. Camp forms are due May 31st, and payment is due by July 15th. We have enclosed camp applications (request more or make copies if needed), list of what to bring and the rules of conduct for the week.
